The association

Keeping heritage alive, building connection today.

Bamika–Alsace is a cultural association in Strasbourg. We connect Hazara memory, languages, creativity, youth and solidarity so heritage can remain alive in everyday life.

01 / Our mission

Pass it on without freezing it. Bring people together without erasing differences.

Our work starts from a simple idea: culture stays alive when it is told, practised, shared and reimagined. Our projects create spaces for families, children, young people, women, volunteers and partners.

02 / Bamiyan & memory

A landscape of memory, a source for transmission.

Bamiyan holds an important place in Hazara cultural memory. We evoke it as a historical and emotional landmark — without reducing an entire culture to one place, while recognising the depth of its traces.

03 / Our principles

An open, thoughtful and human association.

01

Transmission

Give new generations references, language and stories.

02

Participation

Build projects with people, not only for them.

03

Respect

Create a space where everyone can contribute with dignity and safety.

04

Openness

Bring Hazara heritage, Alsace and contemporary diversity into dialogue.
